In the Spanish town of Galdakao, there’s a refrigerator on a public sidewalk that the hungry can open to find fresh, wholesome food, and take what they like for free. When they return the next day, they find the supply replenished. Residents are calling it the ‘Solidarity Fridge’, where donors generously leave their extra food for others to enjoy. Everyone is welcome to give and to take with no strings attached. The town has instituted a simple set of rules: no raw meat, fish, or eggs; no expired goods.  Will the ‘community fridge’ go global? Find out here. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/galdakao-spain-communal-fridge-food-waste_55ccfb4be4b064d5910aecfa
