A Florida black lab named Max took a car for a literal spin after his owner stepped out of the running vehicle with Max inside.

It seems that Max accidentally knocked the shifter into reverse, causing the car car to cruise in slow circles around a cul-de-sac for about an hour.

Police were could only stop the car by approaching and entering the key pad code on the driver’s side door.
