Stephen Sanchez originally released the song in 2021, before his label encouraged him to release a remix in 2022 with Em Beihold.
 
The song quickly became viral hit on TikTok, gaining over 1 billion views and 4 million videos. It reached number one on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart and number 12 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
 
Stephen also performed the song with Elton John at Glastonbury 2023 during the Sunday headline slot and it was featured in two episodes of season 2 of the series Ginny & Georgia.
 
The song reached number 13 here and has sold over 60,000 copies – double platinum.
