Us Kiwis love our pies!
Absolutely nothing beats tucking into a rich pie, loaded with meat, vegetables and gravy.
So considering we've been eating them for decades, it's safe to say we're pretty knowledgeable about how to eat these tasty morsels.
However, it turns out an American food website has claimed that we've been eating pies wrong this entire time.
According to Eater - a food and dining network that covers the ins and outs of the restaurant industry - we're supposed to eat pies upside down.
Writing on X (Formally Twitter), Eater says: "You get the ideal filling-to-crust ratio for every bite, maximising the joy of buttery, flaky dough and savoury filling."
But we have to disagree.
We all know there is one way to eat a meat pie ... and that is NOT upside down!
