Amy Winehouse's story is now getting the biopic treatment.

The first teaser trailer for Back to Black has just been released - giving us a glimpse into Marisa Abela as Amy performing to cheering crowds, being chased by the paparazzi and recording the movie's title song.

"I don't write songs to be famous," she says in the trailer. "I write songs because I don't know what I'd do if I didn't."

She also says that she "ain't no Spice Girl," and the footage closes with Abela's Winehouse reflecting that she wants to "be remembered for just being me."

The film has the blessing of the Winehouse estate which is overseen by Amy’s father, Mitch, who is played by Eddie Marsan in the film.  The trailer also shows her getting a tattoo declaring “Daddy’s girl” on her arm.
