Bride's stunning budget wedding dress goes viral online

A woman in the USA is going viral online for her budget wedding - including her stunning dress which cost under $800NZD!

Kiara Brokenbrough shared on social media that the couple planned the wedding within two months and to a strict budget.

"...I wasn’t going into debt or prolonging this day to save up to pay for strangers/ppl who know nothing about our relationship to dine & drink on our dime. We weren’t tryna impress anybody but honor God. & I believe this is what the origin of what a wedding ceremony is—you, your partner, witnesses & God."

The guest list was limited and they were also required to pay for their own meals.

Some of the video viewers were sceptical, doubting that she was able to get the dress withing that budget.

She proved them wrong, sharing a video to her TikTok account of her trying wedding dresses on at various boutiques, and instead landing on one she found online for $47USD ($69NZD).

She also said that the wedding flowers and cake were gifted.

Maybe we should be taking a few notes here!
