From tiny shop to Disney tiles, there's no denying people across the country go crazy for supermarket collectibles.

But if you can remember the frenzy last year when Countdown Bricks had kids trading the mini supermarket collectibles in the schoolyard and nearly 10,000 searches were clocked on Trade Me from keen collectors, then brace yourself ...

The Bricks are BACK!

But this time with a rural twist and a nod to some of our country's unsung heroes.

The Countdown Bricks Farm collectibles let customers build their own environmentally-friendly Kiwi farm, complete with New Zealand-grown produce including Kaipara Kūmara, Gisborne spinach, Ōpōtiki kiwifruit and Karaka tomatoes and figurines based on actual growers and farmers who supply Countdown stores across the country.

And the best part is, like last year's collectibles, the Countdown Bricks are made from 100 per cent recycled plastic - from items including discarded fridges, swimming goggles and old luggage handles – and are Certified by Environmental Choice New Zealand (ECNZ).

The collectibles hit stores from today (Friday 28 October) until 25 December or while stocks
last and only the luckiest Kiwi collectors will get their hands on 100 rare hidden Golden
Sheep.

Customers will receive one pack for every whole $30 they spend in-store at Countdown or online, with 40 unique sets to collect.

For those who are keen to expand their play, extras including Starter Kits, additional farmer figures and farm vehicles are also available to buy.
