Need some new plants for your home? Well, you're in luck!

Under alert level 3, which commences at 11.59pm on April 27, garden centres and nurseries will be open for business... just not in person.

From next Tuesday, Kings Plant Barn, Bunnings and Mitre 10 stores will be closed to customers, but open for business online!

Shopping options range from online shopping, to click and collect and phone orders for those without internet access.

Local nurseries are also setting up email and phone ordering systems, and Trade Me will resume the buying and selling on plants on their platform.

Find when local nurseries are opening, HERE.

KINGS: All products available through online delivery, with only compost/large bags the exception.

MITRE 10: While most products will be available online, tray-lots of vegetable and flower seedlings, shrubs, house plants and Spring bulbs will be offered on a call and collect system from your local store.

BUNNINGS: Garden products such as mulch etc will be available for delivery, plants may not.

Each store is suggesting customers regularly check online as availability of products may change.

With Autumn just around the corner, and three weeks to fill, companies are expecting an influx of orders, so get in quick!
