With Gordon Ramsay's bacon cheeseburger recipe, soon your favourite place to get a burger will be at home.

And the best part is, the "perfect" juicy burger only takes 10 minutes to make.

Ingredients:

  • 230g ground beef
  • 1 egg yolk
  • Brioche buns
  • 1x deseeded frozen red chilli, grated
  • 2 x rashers bacon
  • 1x onion, sliced
  • 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons sriracha
  • 1x slice of cheddar cheese
  • 1x tomato, sliced
  • Lettuce
  • Grapeseed oil

Method:

  1. To make the pattie, add the egg yolk into the bowl with the ground beef.

  2. Season with salt, pepper, and grated chilli. Then, with clean hands, mix everything together and form the pattie, around 1-inch thick (the thicker you make the pattie, the longer it will take to cook, so press your burger until it is a little thinner for a quicker cooking time).

  3. Drizzle some grapeseed oil on your griddle over medium-high heat and cook the patties for about four minutes, seasoning it with some more salt and pepper.

  4. While the pattie is cooking, mix the sriracha and mayonnaise together in a small bowl with some salt and pepper for the sauce. Add more sriracha if you want some extra heat or if spice isn't your thing, swap the sriracha for English, Dijon, or whole-grain mustard.

  5. After four minutes passed, add the bacon and onion slices to the griddle and increase the heat to high.

  6. While everything cooks, prepare the lettuce and tomatoes.

  7. Next, flip the patties, bacon, and onions and leave them to cook for five more minutes.

  8. Toasted the bun on the griddle for two minutes.

  9. Remove the bacon and onion slices from the griddle and place on a plate covered with a paper towel.

  10. Add a bit of butter to the griddle, then place the cheese slice on top of the pattie. Cover the pattie with a lid or upturned saucepan to help the cheese melt.

  11. Spread the sriracha mayonnaise on the toasted bun before building the burger with the lettuce, tomato and onion slices.

  12. Next, add the pattie with melted cheese on top and the bacon.

  13. Drizzle with some extra sauce and the burger is ready to go!

Enjoy!
