If you're a fan of Netflix’s swoon-worthy series Virgin River we've got some exciting news for you ...
It looks like it won't be long until the fourth season hits our screens!
After season three's major cliffhanger, fans have been desperate for the romantic drama – based on the best-selling book series by Robyn Carter - to be released.
And now New Zealand's own heartthrob Martin Henderson, who stars as Jack Sheridan, has shared an update with us.
Taking to Instagram, Henderson posted a photo of himself recording a voice over with a screen showing Mel (played by Alexandra Breckenridge) in the background.
Alongside the picture, he wrote: "Back at work…getting season 4 good and ready for consumption."
The update suggests the final touches to the new episodes are underway with a release date coming soon.
The 47-year-old's latest post comes almost two months after he last shared an update from the set of the series.
Meanwhile, as the finishing touches are made to season four, the fifth series has been reportedly been hit with delays.
Posting on her Instagram story, Breckenridge told fans: "We were supposed to start [filming] in March, but it was pushed so... I don't know. I don't know man.
"I'm hoping that maybe we'll start in the summer. It would be nice to film in Vancouver in the summer rather than the winter."
Virgin River follows nurse practitioner Melinda who moves from LA to the small town of Virgin River to escape her painful past.
There she meets the charming Jack, the owner of the local bar, and a former Marine.
However, Mel’s transition to small-town living doesn’t go as smoothly as she expected and it’s not long until drama - and romance - ensues.
Virgin River also stars Vampire Diaries actor Daniel Gillies - who also happens to be a Kiwi - Smallville star Annette O’Toole and The West Wing's Tim Matheson.
The first, second and third seasons of Virgin River is available to stream on Netflix now and we can't wait for the fourth season's release!
