Sharing the video to his Youtube page, Barlow wrote: "Well we’re being spoilt today. As it’s Friday we decided to go for royalty - Rock Royalty! It’s an absolute honour to welcome the incredible Brian May to #thecroonersessions."

While Brian took to his Instagram to share the cover, writing: "Lockdown jammin’ with my neighbour!! Mesdames et Messieurs ! Je vous presente —- GARY BARLOW !!!

"We got together, but only virtually, to pay tribute to the fabulous Beatles, and hopefully raise some smiles out there. Get Back !

"Of course there is no way to get back today - to where we once belonged - only forwards to a New World. But this simple Lennon/McCartney song is immortal.

Many other music stars are using social media to provide impromptu concerts to the world, as a slew of public entertainment events are being cancelled every day across the planet.
