Toni’s super-easy Christmas rocky road

If you love giving homemade gifts at Christmas but suddenly realise December has sprinted past you… this one’s for you.

Toni swears by rocky road when time is short. It’s quick, no-fuss, and always a crowd-pleaser, plus it’s a lovely one to make with the kids.

This version gets a festive upgrade with Crunchie bars and snakes for that extra bit of fun, and it’s easy to adapt if you’re navigating allergies too.

Ingredients

  • 1 large block of milk chocolate
  • 1 block of Caramilk chocolate
  • 1 bag of mini Crunchie bars
  • Chopped snakes
  • 1 bag of marshmallows
  • 1 packet of chopped nuts (optional — leave out if needed)

Method

  • Melt the milk chocolate and Caramilk together until smooth and combined.
  • Roughly crush the mini Crunchie bars and stir them through the melted chocolate.
  • Add in the chopped snakes, marshmallows and nuts (if using).
  • Mix well, making sure everything is generously coated in chocolate.
  • Spoon into a lined tray and refrigerate until set.
  • Once firm, slice or break into chunks. Perfect for popping into gift bags, sharing with friends, or quietly stashing a few pieces just for you!
