A brand‑new trailer for Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu has been released, giving fans their clearest look yet at Din Djarin and Grogu’s upcoming big‑screen adventure. 

The film marks the franchise’s return to cinemas for the first time since 2019 and is set to premiere on May 22, 2026.

The action‑packed footage reveals Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) embarking on a perilous mission alongside his young apprentice, Grogu, as the New Republic enlists them to confront scattered Imperial warlords in the aftermath of the Empire’s collapse. 

The trailer showcases an exciting mix of new and familiar faces, including Sigourney Weaver as Colonel Ward, Jeremy Allen White as Rotta the Hutt, and a host of alien species and creatures fans will instantly recognize. We even glimpse Din unmasked, a rare sight that’s already fueling fan theories. 

Fans are treated to sweeping galactic visuals, hints of high‑stakes battles, and touching father‑and‑son moments between Mando and Grogu, including Grogu’s ever‑growing use of the Force. The trailer also highlights the broader stakes of their mission, with Ward warning, “This isn’t about revenge; it’s about preventing another war.” 

Directed by Jon Favreau and produced alongside Kathleen Kennedy, Dave Filoni, and Ian Bryce, the film promises an epic continuation of The Mandalorian’s legacy.
