It was an eventful and hilariously dramatic Celebrity edition of The Chase when comedian Lucy Porter was sent off stage for breaking the rules.

After a respectable cash builder round, Porter was taken to the table to meet chaser Anne Hegerty, also known as The Governess.

Which is when things heated up ...

When asked a question about actor Steve Martin, Lucy was excited about knowing the answer that she hit "B" before Bradley had finished reading out the options.

"Did you press that button?" Walsh asked her.

"I tell you something now," he continued.

"I don't care how much you love him more than me, you cannot press the button until I've finished reading the question!"

Giggling away at the presenter’s theatrics, Porter immediately broke the rules for a second time when she read out which answer she had selected.

At which point Walsh marched her over to the other side of the studio for a hilarious warning.

In the end, the celebrity line-up managed to beat the chaser and win more than $150,000 to donate to their chosen charities.
