The adorable child actress who captured our hearts as "Curly Sue" has now captivated our ears on the The Voice.

Alisan Porter, who starred as the title character in the 1991 film, blew judges away during the singing competition.

Porter’s road to glory has been a long one. Following her success in the early 90s as a star, she fell into a downward spiral and became addicted to drugs.

The mum of two spoke about her drug addiction to Inside Edition in 2014, saying: “I did cocaine, I smoked pot, I drank, I took whatever pill people were taking at the time.”

Since kicking her dangerous habit eight years ago, the 34-year-old has pursued a singing career and wound up on The Voice.

Watch her bring the house down with her version of Linda Ronstadt's "Blue Bayou."
