A Kiwi builder who auditioned for The X Factor Australia in his work boots and a high-vis vest has made it through to the top four of the competition.
Te Atatu born and bred, Tangaroa Te Tai, also known as 'Big T', moved to Australia three years ago to work in the mines.
During his audition, judge James Blunt picked Te Tai to win the Australian TV competition.
