Some New York subway-goers had a pretty entertaining afternoon yesterday!
That's because Miley Cyrus and Jimmy Fallon decided to go undercover as subway singers at Rockefeller Center, performing 'Party in the USA' and Dolly Parton's (Miley's God Mother) 'Jolene'.
"No one knows that this is going to happen," the Tonight Show host told viewers before he began busking with Cyrus. "No one knows that it's Miley Cyrus. Let's do this."
But Miley's distinctive voice was quickly recognised by people.
Fallon revealed the bit was filmed in "10 minutes, max."
"It was crazy," Cyrus said in agreement. "And I didn't know how recognizable we really would be. I mean, you were getting called Billy Ray Cyrus. Right on! You were in disguise—they knew it was me! They thought it was me and my dad. I thought it was me and my dad! And then you took [the wig] off and I was like, 'Holy s--t! My dad is Jimmy Fallon!'"
