Just yesterday on Ellen in the US, Fleetwood Mac performed for the first time without Lindsay Buckingham, but with Neil Finn taking his place.
They performed two of the band's classic hits, 'The Chain' and 'Gypsy' for the studio audience, with Neil taking lead vocals on 'The Chain'.
Fleetwood Mac's official tour starts with Neil in October and goes into early 2019.
When asked about Lindsay's departure from the band earlier this year, Stevie Nicks gave an emotional response: This is sad for me, but I want the next 10 years of my life to be really fun and happy,” she said. “I want to get up every day and dance around my apartment and smile and say, ‘Thank God for this amazing life.’”
Buckingham's take on his departure wasn't as emotional: “I think what you would say is that there were factions within the band that had lost their perspective.”
