Zara and Mike Tindall welcomed a little girl to the world yesterday, she weighed 9 lbs and her name still hasn’t been announced.

She is joining Mia Tindall who is four years old.

This wasn’t the first time that the Phillip’s have made headlines because of a baby, the last time being August last year when Zara’s half-sister gave birth to a little baby boy.

Zara’s half-sister, Felicity Wade, is the New Zealand connection as they share a father, Captain Mike Phillips.

Felicity Wade was conceived after an infamous one night stand between Phillips and Heather Tonkin after an Auckland riding clinic back in 1984.

After Tonkin discovered she was pregnant, she told Mark and he told her to have an abortion.

After refusing to abort the baby, Phillips paid her a monthly amount claiming that they were ‘equestrian consultancy’ payments.

In 1991, Phillips refused to be put on the birth certificate and Heather went public with the affair and who her daughter’s dad was.

These days, half-sisters Zara and Heather are separated by 12,000 miles and lead very different lives.

Although Heather isn’t an official royal family member, after marrying polo player Tristan Wade, they share a $2.6 million property with a string of horses.

Surely Zara, Mike, Mia, and the new baby will be paying their Aunt a visit sometime soon on our shores!
