ABBA release new lyric music video for 1979 hit song 'Chiquitita'

ABBA are back with a new music lyric video to give their much-loved 1979 classic 'Chiquitita' a modern look.

The beloved Swedish supergroup released the new video on Friday much to the delight of fans.

The video uses period footage of the group and adds the song's lyrics, seen across the screen in bold capital letters.

Unusually for ABBA, 'Chiquitita' did not feature an original custom-made video, and the one familiar to millions of fans is actually from a TV performance.

'Chiquitita' is the lead single from ABBA's 1979 album, Voulez-Vous.

The album also features the singles 'Does Your Mother Know,' 'Voulez-Vous' and 'I Have a Dream.'
