ABBA fans received a special treat over weekend when half of the pop supergroup reunited ... with one of them stepping back in time to 1977!

Celebrating the launch of the spectacular pop-up restaurant Mamma Mia! The Party at London's O2, Björn Ulvaeus led the star-studded arrivals along with his bandmate Benny Andersson.

And to mark the occasion, Björn also slipped on his iconic white and gold plunging jumpsuit, complete with flares and platform shoes - which he last wore 42 years ago in Australia 1977.

The 74-year-old told the crowd: "It wasn’t even tight. It fits like a glove. My chest hair is the same too.

"But I will never wear it again. Just the once."

Björn also opened up about travelling by Tube to avoid traffic jams.

Björn said: "I’ve been on the Tube a lot. I could travel in other ways, but the Jubilee Line is so much faster than a taxi."

The revelation made fans go wild, as the Jubilee Line stops at Waterloo Station.

"When I’ve been on the Tube people have seen me and they think: 'Oh it can’t be him.'

"Some people do recognise me and I say to them: 'Oh yes, I do look like him!'"

Mamma Mia! The Party, which was created by Björn, lets fans celebrate ABBA's music with an immersive theatrical performance, a mouth-watering four-course Mediterranean feast with a welcome drink and an ABBA disco.

Restaurant goers will be transported to the Greek island of Skopelos as they step through the doors of Niko’s Taverna at The O2.
