ABBA wish fans a merry Christmas with the hilarious help of their "newest member" Sir Ian Mckellen

ABBA might soon become ABIBA if Sir Ian McKellen has his way!

After teaming up together last year, the legendary actor has reunited with Björn Ulvaeus for their annual Christmas knitting session, making an assortment of holiday jumpers for the band.

The jerseys are part of the Swedish superstar's new product range, which also includes Christmas cards and hats with pompoms.

However, taking advantage of the opportunity, McKellen also made a point of making his desire to join the band known.

Along with the new festive clothing line, the duo unveiled a new edition of the ABBA Voyage poster with McKellen in the middle.

We think Ian would make a wonderful addition to the band!
