ABBA's 'Dancing Queen' has been voted the best dance floor filler of all time

ABBA fans it's official!

The Swedish pop supergroup's hit 'Dancing Queen' has been voted the best dance floor filler of all time.

Released by ABBA in 1976, the dance track beat 'Come on Eileen' by Dexys Midnight Runners, 'It’s Raining Men' by The Weather Girls and 'I Wanna Dance with Somebody' by Whitney Houston for the top spot - with 36 per cent of the vote.

The Top 30 was compiled as part of a survey by Virgin Media, asking Brits what songs compelled them to get up and dance the moment they started playing.
