Currently in Italy as part of their European Rhapsody Tour, Queen and Adam Lambert had an extra special treat in store for their fans.

Taking to the stage at Unipol Arena in Casalecchio di Reno in Bologna - which is known as the birthplace of opera - it was only appropriate the rockers gave a spine-tingling rendition of 'Nessun Dorma.'

Putting his showmanship and powerhouse vocals on full display, the current Queen frontman belted out the song and we couldn't help but break out into chills.

Sharing footage from the performance on Instagram after the show, guatarist Brian May wrote: "A spontaneous gift to Bologna last night. So proud of Adam. I can see our dear departed friend Luciano smiling. Let’s Rock tonight."
