Forty years ago, the legendary Bonnie Tyler released her pop rock track 'Holding Out for a Hero' for the 1984 film Footloose.

Last year Adam Lambert put his own spin on the hit song - and we love it so much we just had to re-share! 

With those lyrics we all know and love accompanied by high-drama, glam rock music, his rendition puts a bedazzled spin on the iconic song.

The song featured on the American Idol runner-up's cover album titled High Drama.
