Bindi Irwin announces surprise engagement!

Bindi Irwin is engaged!

The conservationist announced her surprise engagement to her boyfriend of six years, Chandler Powell, on social media following her 21st birthday celebrations.

Taking to Facebook, the daughter of the late Steve Irwin shared two photos of herself with Powell.

In the first image, the couple is lovingly embracing each other.

The second gives fans a closer look at her beautiful new engagement ring.

Irwin and Powell, 22, started dating in 2013 when he was in Australia for a professional wakeboarding competition.

September will mark 13 years since Steve's passing.
