He's a knowledgeable quizzer with roots set in comedy - and Paul Sinha is all too happy to reveal all the shenanigans that go on when the cameras are rolling on 'The Chase'.

Throughout many interviews, Paul has revealed his rich comedy history as well as a few secrets from the show, one being that "In August 1998, Mark once ate a salad."

When asked who his favourite contestant of all time, Paul replied with a lady that some may remember:

"My favourite was the woman who when asked, 'Which former Prime Minister had the middle name Hilda?' answered, without hesitation, 'John Prescott'. It took hours before we stopped laughing."

He also explained how the show airs before most people get home in the UK, so it might actually be more popular over here than in the UK.

"The format has been brilliantly thought out. No matter the relative strengths of the players, it is resolutely a team game, with a dramatic climax. The questions are ludicrously varied, covering everything from 16th-century philosophy to the career of Jodie Marsh."

"But, perhaps most importantly of all, we never forget that it is an entertainment show and to that end we are blessed with Bradley Walsh, one of the brightest stars of the light entertainment firmament."

There's no doubt as to who the star of the show is - but who is your favourite Chaser?
