Some of the biggest names in showbiz came together yesterday in memory of Dame Olivia Newton-John.

Cliff Richard, Nicole Kidman, Barry Gibb, Hugh Jackman, Elton John, Pink and Dolly Parton were among the A-list stars who shared their memories of the beloved icon - who lost her decades-long battle with cancer in August - at her state memorial at Hamer Hall in Melbourne.

However, it was Delta Goodrem's appearance at the service which brought many attendees to tears.

The Australian singer honoured Newton-John with a stunning medley of the late star's biggest hits at the end of the memorial.

She kicked off the emotional tribute with the Grease actress' 1980 song 'Magic,' before moving on to 'Physical' and 'Xanadu.'

She then launched into the classic 'You're The One That I Want,' the country-influenced 1973 hit 'Let Me Be There' and 'Hopelessly Devoted To You.'

Goodrem then closed her moving medley with 1974's 'I Honestly Love You,' where she asked the audience to light up Hamer Hall with their phones.

Newton-John is survived by her husband John Easterling and only daughter Chloe Lattanzi.
