Elvis Presley has beaten Adele and Ed Sheeran for the best wedding first dance song

It may come as no surprise, but Elvis Presley is the King of wedding songs.

A recent poll in the UK found that the legendary singer's romantic ballad 'Can't Help Falling in Love' from the 1961 film Blue Hawaii beat Ed Sheeran, Adele and John Legend to the top spot for the best first dance song at weddings.

All but one track in the lists' top five were sentimental 1960s classics, regularly rolled out as newlyweds' sway together after saying "I do."

Frankie Valli's 'Can't Take My Eyes Off You' came in at second, Frank Sinatra's 'The Way You Look Tonight' was third, and The Righteous Brothers' 'Unchained Melody' came in at number five.

The research - which surveyed 2,000 adults - placed Legend's 'All Of Me' in fourth.
