Iconic '90s band Smash Mouth releases rocking cover of Rick Astley's 'Never Gonna Give You Up'

Nearly thirty-five years ago, pop legend Rick Astley became a household name by promising that he was never gonna give you up or let you down, nor run around and desert you.

During those past three decades, there have been countless covers of his hit song 'Never Gonna Give You Up,' but iconic '90s band Smash Mouth has put their own spin on the 1987 classic.

While staying fairly faithful to the track, but still decidedly Mouth-y, the cover gives off an upbeat vibe.

The group is best known for their hits 'Walkin' on the Sun,' 'All Star' and their cover of the Monkees' 'I'm a Believer.'
