In the era of movie and TV reboots, John Travolta and Kirstie Alley are ready to make a fourth Look Who's Talking.

It has been 30 years since the duo shared a set on the original 1989 film, and now Alley has revealed they're both eager to reprise their roles.

During an appearance on The Talk, the 69-year-old actress was asked by host Sheryl Underwood about the reports of a reboot.

Alley confirmed: "John and I both really want to do it because we think it's funny that we're the grandparents."

She then jokingly added: "Our kids will be ugly so that we'll still be the stars, and then the grandkids can be really cute."

However, she remained tight-lipped on whether or not the fourth instalment is actually happening.

She said: "But we don't know what's happening, we heard a rumour that they were doing it but I don't know if it's with us or without us."

After the critical success of Look Who's Talking, she and Travolta went on to star in two sequels, 1990's Look Who's Talking Too and 1993's Look Who's Talking Now.

The first two films also featured Bruce Willis as the voice of Alley's character's son, Mikey.

While Willis didn’t return for Look Who’s Talking Now, Diane Keaton and Danny Devito joined the cast as the voices for the family’s newly acquired dogs.
