Michael Parkinson's final interview with "The Big Yin" Billy Connolly

Happy Birthday to "The Big Yin" himself, Billy Connolly! Turning 81 today, he is a true living comedy legend. 

In celebration of his birthday, we wanted to reshare his interview with another great, Michael Parkinson, who passed away aged 88 earlier this year.

This was the final episode of Parky's eponymous show after 36 years on the screen, with the star touching on his final show, "Over the years it has been a privilege to meet some of the most intelligent and interesting people."

Billy was launched to fame back in 1975 when he first appeared on Parky's chatshow and surprised audiences with a very risqué joke which they revisit in this interview.
