In celebration of Mother's Day over the weekend in the United Kingdom, the Princess of Wales has released an adorable family photograph of herself with her three children.

Kate took to social media to share the snap and a message of thanks for the support as she has been recovering from her surgery in January.

The photo shows Princess Kate sitting on a chair with Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.

The royal mother is dressed casually in a black shirt, jeans and black boots with her hair styled in her signature loose waves.

"Thank you for your kind wishes and continued support over the last two months. Wishing everyone a Happy Mother's Day." she wrote alongside the photos.

The picture was taken by Prince William.

Prince William, George, Charlotte and Louis usually celebrate Mother’s Day by baking cakes and writing homemade cards.

Too cute!

Buckingham Palace also shared a photo of the King with his late mother Queen Elizabeth II.

The picture shows King Charles, then Prince of Wales, in 1985 kissing the hand of his mother at a presentation ceremony after a polo match.

Alongside the photo is a pink flower emoji and the message: “Wishing all Mothers, and those who are missing their Mums today, a peaceful Mothering Sunday.”
