Regé-Jean Page left audiences swooning with his role as The Duke of Hastings in the first season of Bridgerton.
But while word around the ton is that he's considering a return to the incredibly popular series - adapted from Julia Quinn's novels - for season three after quitting following season one, Page has directly shot down the chatter surrounding his return.
Taking to Instagram, the 34-year-old shared a photo of him catching up with his former co-star Jonathan Bailey at Fashion Week in Milan, Italy.
"The boys are back in town. (No, I'm not going back to the show btw - the papers made that one up.)," he captioned the picture.
"But we had the best, and most stylish, catch up I’ve had in a while over some truly excellent Italian coffee and sunshine."
Fans will no doubt be devastated the actor isn't returning as there was an outcry when he left the series, with the Duke of Hastings' love story with Daphne Bridgerton (Phoebe Dynevor) having been watched by an estimated 63 million households across the globe.
