The meme - which was posted online by the Twitter account No Context Brits and received over 86,000 likes - was captioned: "Rod Stewart is looking well."

Taking the joke in good spirits, the music legend retweeted the lookalike bunker to his 500,000 followers.

He captioned the meme: "F*** sake," followed by a laughing face emoji.

The 77-year-old's hilarious quip has since racked up an impressive 451.8k likes and 34k retweets as fans appreciated that he could have a laugh at himself.
