The Chase viewers attack contestant over his "bizarre" outfit choice

While Alastair went on The Chase in an attempt to win as much money as possible against the Chaser, viewers were less interested in his intelligence and more preoccupied by his "bizarre" choice of shirt.

Taking to social media in a frenzy following Wednesday's episode of the popular show, viewers attacked the 48-year-old company director for his bold shirt which featured a mixture of tartan prints.

"Did he buy that shirt or make it himself?" one joked.

Another said: "Never trust anyone wearing a shirt like that."
