The Queen's message for New Zealand after the earthquake

Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II has sent her condolences to New Zealanders affected by this week’s earthquake.
"Prince Philip and I were shocked to hear news of the severe earthquakes that struck on Monday," The Queen said in a statement posted to Twitter.
"I send my condolences to the families of those who were killed and to the people whose homes and businesses have been affected."

The Queen also noted that the Royal Families thoughts were with New Zealand during this time.
