On Saturday, the world got another glimpse of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's baby son Archie on the day of his christening, which was attended by just 25 people.

Kate Middleton and Prince William were among the guests at the intimate affair.

And in the official family photo which was released shortly after the ceremony took place in the Queen's private chapel at Windsor Castle, the Duchess of Cambridge can be seen paying a sweet tribute to the late Princess Diana.

Opting for a bright look for Archie's big day, Kate beamed in a stunning pink pussybow Stella McCartney dress, which she paired with magenta heels and a matching, bespoke Juliette Botterill headband.

But the most important accessory the royal mum-of-three wore to Archie's christening, however, was definitely her earrings.

Touchingly, the Duchess chose to wear her Diana's Collingwood Pearl Earrings, which are the exact same earrings the "People's Princess" wore to Harry's christening on 21 December 1984.

Kate Middleton regularly channels her mother-in-law's impeccable style, so it's totally unsurprising that she selected the most appropriate piece of jewellery to wear at Archie's christening.
