Woman wows American Idol judges with mesmerising Barbra Streisand cover

Now this is one impressive American Idol audition!

Trying out for the long-running talent show, Nailyah Serenity wowed the judges and viewers with her incredible rendition of Barbra Streisand's 'My Man.'

The 22-year-old was praised for putting a modern spin on the 1960s tune and also drew comparisons to legendary singers Ella Fitzgerald and Nina Simone, leaving Katy Perry, Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan standing with applause.

Following the performance, Richie said: "That was heavy navigation you just did. Totally, thoroughly enjoyed it."

Unsurprisingly, the judges gave her three "yes votes" sending her to Hollywood.
