Over the past few weeks, the music world has continued to mourn the loss of Kenny Rogers.

In celebration of his life and music, musicians and some of Kenny's good friends including Dolly Parton, Lionel Richie, Gavin DeGraw and Lady Antebellum came together for a virtual performance as part of the CMT GIANTS Kenny Rogers: A Benefit for MusiCares.

The stars not only performed Kenny's songs directly from their homes but they also reflected on his impact on the music world.

Rare archival photos, interviews and performances by Rogers also aired.

"Kenny Rogers transcended genres and generations with his musical versatility, legendary collaborations and timeless appeal, and we're honoured to pay tribute to his legacy," CMT executive producer, Margaret Comeaux, said in a statement.
