As President Barack Obama celebrates his 55th birthday at the White House today, his official photographer reflected on almost eight years capturing images of the most powerful man in the world in an interview with Newstalk ZB's Mike Hosking this morning.

Pete Souza is the official White House photographer, and was by Obama's side through history being made, to quieter moments of reflection, to moments of levity and laughter.
