3/13 Matthew Broderick as Ferris Bueller: Since his rebellious high school days, Matthew’s won two Tony Awards and continued to act in films — he was the voice of Simba in The Lion King. In 1987, he and Ferris Bueller co-star and then-girlfriend Jennifer Grey were in a serious car accident in Ireland. He’s married to Sarah Jessica Parker and recently celebrated his 54th birthday.

5/13 Alan Ruck as Cameron Frye: Before Alan was Matthew Broderick’s on-screen BFF, the two acted together in the 1985 Broadway production of Biloxi Blues. Since then, he’s taken on numerous film and television roles, including parts in Twister and Speed. He said that working with director John Hughes was “almost like having a stand-up comic for a director.”

7/13 Jeffrey Jones as Principal Ed Rooney: Jones has since starred in films from 'Beetle Juice' to 'Sleepy Hollow,' but perhaps has garnered the most attention for his arrest in 2002 for paying a 14-year-old boy to pose for lewd pictures. He was sentenced to 5 years of probation and registered as a sex offender. Since then Jones has been arrested two more times and sentenced to another 3 years of probation.

8/13 Edie McClurg as Grace: Since removing all the pencils from her hair, Edie’s been in everything you’ve ever loved. Her television roles include characters on The Golden Girls, 7th Heaven, Full House, and Portlandia. She also voiced Carlotta in the first two Little Mermaid movies, and voiced Gerda in Frozen.

She also shacked up with then-married Lloyd Eisler on Skating with the Celebrities. Swanson gave birth to their son, Magnus Hart, in 2007.
