It was an eventful and hilariously dramatic edition of The Chase this week when Bradley Walsh accidently broke the show's set.

The 61-year-old TV star was showing his support for contestant Max, who was on track to take home a huge £35k prize pot as he took on Mark Labbett in his head-to-head round.

With The Beast quickly on his tail and with just one question between them, the much-loved host asked Max: "Which of these counties borders the other two?" before he gave the options as Gloucestershire, Hampshire and Wiltshire, with Max choosing Wiltshire.

Unable to contain his excitement Max had entered what Walsh believed to be a correct answer, he punched his hand down onto the table.

Realising his error instantly, he announced: "I've cracked it, I'm so sorry. Have we got a spare?"

Turning to Max, he then joked: "If you win the £35k can you lend me a couple of quid?"

The Beast was left in hysterics as Max told Bradley to go "steady", but unfortunately for Max he was soon caught and eliminated from the show.
