If you've purchased a 360ml Glass Travel Cup from Kmart, you need to stop using it - immediately!
The discount department chain has just issued an urgent recall for the product after it was revealed the bottom of the glass could separate if using boiling water, making it a potential burning hazard.
The popular travel cups were sold across New Zealand and Australia between 31 December 2018 and 5 April 2019.
Customers have been advised to return the travel cups to a Kmart store, with or without a receipt, for a full refund.
The department store took to Facebook to share the recall with their fans, writing: "At Kmart, we take the quality and safety of our products very seriously, which is why we are issuing a product safety recall of the 360ml Glass Travel Cup."
"Due to a manufacturing defect, the bottom of the glass can separate if using boiling water. This item was available for purchase between 31 December 2018 and 4 April 2019."
"We encourage customers to cease using this product immediately and return to any Kmart store for a full refund, with or without a receipt."
