Robbie Williams' prodigies LMA Choir perform beautiful virtual rendition of 'Stand By Me'

LMA Choir first wowed Robbie Williams in 2018 on The X-Factor and now they're wowing the millions of people around the world in self-isolation with their beautiful virtual performance.

The 13-strong choir came together from their individual homes for an online rendition of Ben E. King's poignant song 'Stand By Me' in an attempt to help keep community spirit high during the current pandemic.

Speaking about their performance, Stephanie Wallace-Carr, the head of LMA Choir, said: "Like everyone else, as a choir, we've been keeping in touch with video calls and trying to keep each other's spirits up, making sure we all stay positive.

"So, working on a song together in this way has really strengthened our bond as a group and has helped us maintain some sense of normality, as well as hopefully bringing a smile to people's faces!"

The choir were mentored by Robbie as they competed in the live shows of The X Factor two years ago.

Following the show, the group went on to perform alongside the singer at his sell-out shows in the UK, as well as lending their vocal talents to his festive album, The Christmas Present.

Last year, the 'Angels' hitmaker became a co-owner of the choir.
