Patrick Swayze to be remembered in new heartfelt documentary on the tenth anniversary of his death

Come September 14, it will be 10 years since the world lost the incredibly talented Patrick Swayze to pancreatic cancer.

In tribute to the Dirty Dancing star, Paramount Network is releasing a documentary on about the beloved actor, I Am Patrick Swayze.

The film interviews his former costars and those closest to him - including Demi Moore, Sam Elliott, Jennifer Grey and Rob Lowe - about who he was, his wonderful spirit, and his personal battles.

"Patrick had something about him that was very rugged, but he also had that beautiful, gentle, sensuous ability to move," Ghost costar Demi Moore says.

"Patrick performed like he had something to prove," Rob Lowe adds. "He was a gymnast, a world-class cowboy, a ballet dancer ... really?"

We still can't believe it has been a decade since he passed away.

I Am Patrick Swayze will be released on Sunday 18 August to mark the late actor's 67th birthday.
