Christmas Day sadly marks three years since pop megastar George Michael passed away.

So in honour of his memory, we're throwing it back to this awesome video of the 'Faith' singer.

If you’re a fan of James Corden’s Carpool Karaoke, you have George to thank.

The singer, who passed away on 25 December 2016 from heart and liver disease, was the original guest on an early version of the segment.

Starting back in 2011, George and James collaborated on a sketch for Comic Relief's Red Nose Day special.

During the sketch, James attempts to save the day by driving the former Wham! star to the fundraising event.

"It's become quite a big part of my life now, and he inspired it."
