After joining forces with Sir Michael Caine for a humorous advert encouraging people to get a Covid-19 vaccine, Sir Elton John is back.

Teaming up with some more of Britain's most famous faces, this time the legendary singer was joined by comedians David Walliams and Sir Lenny Henry, TV actors Lydia West and Navin Chowdhry and model Liz Hurley.

Starring in the UK's National Health Service (NHS) two-minute advert the stars can once again be seen auditioning for the role of reassuring the public that the vaccines are safe and effective.

It shows them tackling common myths about the vaccine, including its ingredients and impact on fertility.

More than nine in ten over-45s in England have now received at least one dose and a quarter of all adults are fully vaccinated.

The Government said 48,748,962 jabs have been given in the UK, of which 34,216,087 were first doses.
