Josh Groban has put his signature spin on Robbie Williams' 1997 hit 'Angels' ... and it is truly heavenly!

Taking to the American Idol stage, the 40-year-old teamed up with contestant Beane for the spinetingling cover.

The performance earned both singers a standing ovation from all three American Idol judges.
