Move over Melania Trump ... because the Duchess of Cambridge is now taking inspiration from the late Princess Diana and her iconic white suit.

The 37-year-old mum looked incredibly regal in a white coatdress with black piping by Catherine Walker - who was one of Diana's favourite designers - with a matching black fascinator, clutch and pumps during the 2019 Order of the Garter ceremony at Windsor Castle today.

Many couldn't help but notice that the chic outfit bared a striking resemblance to a suit the late Diana wore during an appearance at the V-J Day festivities in 1995, which was reportedly designed by Tomasz Starzewski.

Diana's two-piece ensemble also featured navy piping.

And she accessorised the look with a pair of navy and white pumps, a matching hat, and a stunning set of pearls.

The Order of the Garter takes place annually, which is described on the royal family's website as "the oldest and most senior Order of Chivalry in Britain," and is regularly attended by multiple members of the royal family.
